As some may know, I've been battling illness/injury for a very long time, which has profoundly affected my ability to make work. I'm finally on my way to getting back on my feet. Hopefully I'll be finishing work and cranking out new ones this year!

Exciting Spring/Summer Update
I will be working as a Studio Assistant at Lower East Side Printshop! They publish artists' prints and have their own little gallery, and I will be working with the master printers and resident artists. It'll be lots of fun, and I will be making many of my own print projects too!
Otherwise, throughout the spring and summer, I will be working on a bunch of new small paintings and works on paper.

Notes on the Artist's Statement

The artist's statement is a not an answer, but a set of hints.

It is not possible for what is written to ever completely explain creative endeavors. The artwork and the statement are connected only by way of giving hints for each other so that they can be understood separately, not so that they can be dependent on each other. One either reads or looks, but cannot simultaneously do both; somewhere between looking and reading, one should do some pondering and enjoying, and that is the space I would always like to have between the artwork and the statement.

I say this because I have written what could be called an "artist's statement" on the homepage. But because what is written is one thing, and what is made is another thing, I wrote my statement but it does not necessarily explain what I meant when I made my artwork.

The Grand Opening of the Bunnycult
Between working, moving around, more working, making things, and just having some trouble with money, the long overdue Bunnycult is finally here! I've been dreaming about the Bunnycult and working on and off on it for the past five years and yes, I'm very excited! I've been making time to focus on this, and hoping to seriously start exhibiting soon. Enjoy the work, and maybe pick up a couple of pins to support your fellow bunny :)

Pins are for sale now @ the Bunnymart.
